Before the drywall went up we had to prepare the pex water supply & return pipes and valves for the wall mounted radiator:

Getting the pieces ready:

It’s not elegant but hey it works- strapped on and shimmed to get it within the 7/8″ Inch required by the radiator:

Ta-da, ready for insulation:

Totally forgot to post photos of our now working faucet, and disposal button, thanks to the granite guys most recent visit…

L to R: soap dispenser, disposal button, faucet, insta hot/ cold:

The faucets were moved up towards the sink, to increase the functionality of the levers. This was where they were originally supposed to be… But you can sort of make out the patch behind the insta hot:

Yay!

The story of our tub filler install, in four photos.

Don’t worry, the quik-grip isn’t part of the final install… but the water’s flowing! Which means…
we’ve completed our tub/ shower projects! (I even took the sticker off the interior of the tub)

A shower so sweet, we installed two. (Okay yes so that was always in the plan) Here’s the scoop on the second ‘south’ shower… Suspiciously similar to the ‘north’ shower:

Rain type showerhead…

But this one has a Hand sprayer; adjustable up/ down on the shower pipe.

… And the hand shower diverter and thermostatic control.

You may have heard, we’ve moved our shower facilities to the second floor! Here’s some squeaky clean details on our modern spa Victorian shower.

> “Exposed Twin Thermostatic Shower Valve, with a wax thermostatic cartridge to maintain constant temperature and separate water flow control.” What this means: you can turn the water on/ off mid shower and it stays the same temp. Fancy/ sustainable!

> Rain shower head w/ low flow gasket thing

Love! The fixtures are in classic chrome, from Hudson Reed.

We have…

…Water…

…Coming out of a shower head on the second floor!

It’s official: Shampoos are movin on up!

These pipes have been a part of the bathroom for so long… Very useful for hanging items. It was sad to see them go…

Just kidding. They had to go to install the shower and we couldn’t be more excited:

Here we’re test fitting the shower valve:

More to come!
