The handmade turkish carpet runner we bought while on vacation in Kusadasi, Turkey arrived! Of course we had to unwrap it immediately and check it out in the office:
For now it’s going to live in our closet, and it fits perfectly:
The first step in our little bedroom flip is of course to get all the STUFF out of the room. And simultaneously, organize the stuff in the orange room, which will be the new storage room. Which looked like this:
Ooh still love the peachy earthy orange:
So we decided to set up our expedit from our apartment, which was conveniently one of the items we needed to move from the little bedroom. Mod vs not mod:
These things are a pain to set up.

Our tub is apparently one of the thicker cast iron tubs and weights a ton! These guys were big but were struggling a bit…
Breaking news… we switched over from our heat pump to our hot water Radiators this weekend… (the idea is once night temps get into the 30s- it’s time to fire up the radiators for more efficient heat):
So I just wanted to send a shout out to the fabulous crew who helped us get these babies in prime condition last year… I mean just look!

Bedroom two, Before- I was in charge on getting the wires ready for action. Here is the guts of a Cat5e wire, incase you’re interested. Cat5e is currently the most common data cable in use:
